Context
Football House was a cafe and restaurant built around live football viewing. The owner needed a clear identity that worked across signage, menus, social media, and interior touchpoints without looking like a typical food business.
Role
I led the identity design as a freelancer, owning the logo concept, visual direction, color system, and brand guidelines.
Actions
The brief ruled out food and restaurant cues from the start. The differentiator was football viewing, not the menu. Early ideas around large TVs felt too obvious and easy to ignore. The real constraint was application: the logo had to hold as a social media profile picture, which ruled out anything complex or multi-element. I looked at the football itself: one pentagon panel from the ball surface doubles as a house shape. That kept the mark simple enough to work at small sizes while making the positioning clear without explanation.
Deliverables
- Logo
- Color Palette
- Typography
- Brand Guidelines
- Social Media Assets
Outcome
The identity helped position Football House as a clear match-viewing destination for families and young football fans. The cafe became consistently crowded, with well-known football players also joining fans to watch games.
